HAVE has been serving Hobart and the Tasmanian audio visual market since 1980. A family business owned by founders Nick and Helen Crawford, HAVE has grown from renting/hiring TVs, black and white video cameras, in the 1980s through to VHS, betamax, audio cassettes and huge video projectors to become one of Hobart’s major suppliers of the latest Octanorm exhibition booth shell scheme and audio visual presentation and communication equipment in Tasmania.
Operating from two large warehouses in Hobart. Our rental/hire products can be seen wherever professional Exhibition and AV systems are required-from trade shows to rock concerts, conferences, product launches and political gatherings. There is nothing we can’t do.
In addition to its Tasmanian customers the company also serves customers throughout Australia as well as many international firms.
Despite our growth and expansion Nick and Helen are still intimately involved in the company’s day-to-day management. Their knowledge of the industry, their understanding of their customers, and their “obsession with quality” continue to drive the business with a long term commitment to investing in the best and latest technology.
We don’t only have the latest equipment we have the experience that counts. So often you hear the new kids on the block claiming to know it all.
“I wish I was young enough to know it all” said Nick when asked about the difference between the many AV companies springing up around the country. “Many times we are told of functions that have fallen over because the operator just did not have enough experience”
